Happy Duriff day to you Lesley, has Erich secured a bottle of 2012 Warrabilla for such a special occasion? Even Tom amd Carmel had to admit the 2012 Warrabilla even surpassed the Glenrowan offerings ;) Hope you have a great day Lesley, poor Erich will be run off his feet doing the hapy hr to van and back glass refill service 8-)

Thank you all. We were on the Savannah Way and crossed from NT to Qld at about 9.30am. 32kms west of Hells Gate Roadhouse, the tyre dog alerted us that the left rear tyre on the LC was deflating. What fun did we have with Erich crawling round in the deep red sand trying to get the car jacked up!! Oz Bash participants were whizzing past with lights flashing, horns blaring and showering us with even more red dust!! Eventually a couple stopped and gave us a hand to get the new wheel on so we gave them a donation for their RFDS fundraiser. Ended up in Burketown at the overflow at the Rodeo Grounds so we could get the tyre repaired. Had a lovely dinner at the pub so not a bad day in the end!!
