What did the makers of WD-40 say when it was mentioned on their Facebook site? Advertising comes in all shapes and sizes and different methodology, think how far this piece of advertising has spread at no cost to the manufacturer..... what else would they say about it
So, is it really a fake? Or extremely clever advertising?

That last time that I looked, a can of WD-40 is more than 1+1/2 inches in diameter. I can sort of remember, when I was a kid, that my grandfather would get a tin of something off the shelf and poor it onto whatever part he was attempting to dis-assemble. But then, back in the good ol' days even graffiti was done with a paint brush.
Whatever the real truth, I don't care. It's a great story.
