Another job for George coming up. I run 12v from the motorhome directly to the Terios battery via a couple of Anderson Plugs. Notwithstanding that, I'd be surprised if the ignition switch needs to be in the Acc position. If you turn the ignition switch from the Lock position to the Acc or On position (thereby unlocking the steering) and then turn it back to the Off position it should not actually lock the steering until you withdraw the key from the lock. That's how my Terios works.

Going back to the time of about the HQ Holden and such, when steering locks were first introduced and the steering would lock just by turning the key to the lock position, there were some accidents caused because people would turn the ignition off going down hill (a misguided attempt to save fuel or some other silly reason) just as they had done in their old car without an ignition lock. This resulted in the evolutionary process taking effect - of course evolution only works if the idiot is eliminated before he has time to reproduce! I digress. Anyway, after that, steering locks were made so that the lock would not engage unless the key was withdrawn from the steering lock. I'd be surprised if your steering lock is not the same.

Hi Dot I give mine 3 min minim for that very reason plus every time I stop the bus I do it , haven't had a prob with sluggish start doing that .

Thanks guys, G is going to drive the car to the next town to give the workings a good run. It is a beautiful sunny day compared to yesterday. A very quiet rest stop over night hardly a sound was heard apart from the Gsnore but that is fixed with a kick to the shins or a pussy sitting on his face (go for it you lot) Time for Brian to have his morning walk C.U.

What a beautiful day today has been, Stopped last night at Latham with 3 caravanners This morning was a late start and that was taking Brian the "terrorist" for a long walk to try to tire him out a bit. Headed off just after noon and now parked in Mingenew main st having a cuppa and a chunky meat pie. G took the car for a good run yesterday after re fuelling at Wubin Hills he drove to our night spot at Latham. She did start much better than she has been No coverage last night and may not be any where we are intending to stop tonight so copyuslater.

Have no idea Shirley, I thought it may have been a birds nest?? didn't want to get too close never know what could be inside that. Ray in the distant future there may be something along the sides (of the bus) but that shall have to wait. Rutherglen is a tad far this time Ray and I have my own winery in the cupboard.
