changes to forum

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

George I reckon this 'new' version works a bit different in the way it marks forums read.
Basically it looks at your login, marks all posts read and marks the time that it does it.
Next time you click on "view unread posts" it looks at your login & also at what time you last time marked them as viewed. It then provides a list of posts that were made after that time.
I'll try a few things once I get a few things off my plate. lol

Unread posts looks like ......
search.php?search_id=unreadposts

Mark forums read looks like ....
index.php?hash=d8671d72&mark=forums&mar ... 1442467167[/u][/b]

Notice the time? Probably seconds since Christ was a boy in seconds?
index.php?hash=d8671d72&mark=forums&mar ... 1442467268[/u][/b]
Taken a minute later.

I think I fixed your time Bernie but it may not show until you log back in again.
Try it & let me know?
I'll look at the PM notification.
Do you mean the popup notice or the email?

OK, so is your time right now?
I think I fixed it.
I can't find any fixes for the email notification. Sounds like a lot of different forums are having the same problem too.

Bruce,

I sometimes wish to Mark Forums Read that I have no interest in reading. That is what I am on about.
