I don't want to pussy foot about, but it appears the wise thing to do.
They ran 40 of 161 laps, and will be back as another wildcard entry next year...you have to ask why, and why more deserved racers aren't given the same opportunity.
Reverse discrimination to defray comments against the sport's administration.

They actually ran 121 laps :o

Good luck to them as they were able to raise the required sponsorship to put the deal together.
