Pretty straight forward with standard numbered terminals on relays these days.
Just Google "pinouts relay".

Sorry for being away for so long now I am back to a "NORMAL" work regime might be able to get my head around all this info. I can see that my solar controller is not to clever. These are the total sum of info I have found. I am still waiting on Setec for some advice. They do state in the manual battery types, as you will all imagine not a great range. But they should have some answers as to yea or nay.

I even Googled the company website and there zero useful information there  you need to know the boost end voltage, absorption voltage and float voltage, I'm gunna have a stab and say these don't exist and it has a cut off voltage of something like 13.8v

Ok, the solar controller has to go. I would apreciate it I could get some recomendations as to type/brand etc. The plan is for 100ah but as plans go 200ah would be better. Keeping that in mind and the fact I have only 160 watts of solar I will obviousky need a competant controller. The thing that amazes me us that in normal circustances I get my head around things eletrical and mechanical quite quicky. But for some stupid reson I am very slow off the mark with this.

Bob, think you are on the money there. Good bit is have a suppliers very local. The plan is I hope to start with 100ah with view to go 200ah. Maybe overkill but I would rather have a good safetynet. This Setec thing has me a bit worried but if I can't use it in the battery regime of charging so beit. Maybe a 240v so when on shore power it can suppliment solar.
Looks like I may well be able to get it up and running for around $1300 for 100ah to $2100 for 200ah. Which With a contingancy built in to those numbers seems good value. So the pl20 is on shopping list for this week.
I am even going to do a spreadsheet to monitor the costs. Haven't done that since the mid 90s when I built my Bellett.

Hi Peter,
looks like we are in the same boat.

I too have a Jayco setec  feeding a 100ah Fullriver GEL at present.
I was considering 100ah c/o to Lith but now will go to 200ah Lith.(when the GEL carks it)
I have 400w of solar (sitting on the floor waiting to be installed) to go on the van roof plus a 120w folding panel.
I have ordered the plasmatronics Dingo to to look after the present and the future batteries.
The Dingo is neg earth.

cheers
Gary
