Sounds terrific Dot, glad that you had a trouble free trip & enjoyed yourselves.
Flies have been a nuisance here too, really annoying when trying to play bowls & gardening.

Doesn't matter where we have been on the East side of the country, there have been lots of the nasty little buggars. Every time you open a car door, you seem to spend time then getting the little monsters out of a window. So yes Dot, flies are a problem everywhere.

Either you have a VERY smooth garden, or your Female Multi-Tasking Gene is working overtime, if you can "play bowls AND [do] gardening" at the same time.

Sorry, Dot. The devil made me do it.
As Willie Nelson sings in the "Black Rose" :-
The devil made me do it the first time,
The second time I done it on my own.

You should have seen the tricky truckie wheeling the big rig around in the marina, smile from ear to ear, poor George wasn't even allowed to drive the big rig back to the big rig parking area.

On the subject of packing, Terry, you're not the only ones - we are moving back to Adelaide after being away for 28 years. Don't tell Dot though. I want to be able to call in from time to time and be served scones with jam and cream. If she thinks we are travellers we might get scones. If I come up the hill every couple of weeks just for scones, and she finds out we live in Adelaide, she might not be so accommodating.
