Hi all, How would you like some happy news. We received all the results from Kiara's pre clinical trial tests late today and she will not be going on the trial because as from today they are telling us she is Cancer Free yeah , so no reason to continue with the clinical trial, this is the first battle won not saying we have won the war but well on the way, it has been such a hard year for Kiara and our family and we are very proud of the way she has handled all of this and the treatment, she still has a way to go to regain her health, it will take some time but with the love of the family and her wonderful and beautiful friends she will get there. She now has 3 months off before going back to Peter Mac for follow up scans. So with this news we are planning one hell of a Xmas and the van might just get a dusting off and we just might run away for a few weeks after Xmas. Have a great night everyone. I have been avoiding reading this thread as I really didn't want to read any more bad news for a while.... how wrong was I Great news and share a few hugs and kisses around for us two as well, what a great Christmas present

IT'S ALL GOOD ........Hi everyone just dropping in again (but have been keeping an eye on you all), well today is another good day Kiara had some follow up scans done 2 weeks go then she took off to Fiji, managed to survive the Cat 5 cyclone, arrived home late last night looking very relaxed and tanned and said that if you get a chance to visit Fiji go for it she was blown away with the country and its beautiful people.
Now today was D-Day again headed off to Melbourne to get her scan results and we were all very nervous and anxious , BUT the result were fantastic it was just the news we needed, she is still tumour free and no change from her last scans. We no longer at this stage need to go back to Peter Mac and has been referred back to Ballarat for her next lot of scans in about 3 months time, this is great but it does mean that she can not participate in the Clinical trail at this stage, reason being no cancer to treat at this stage. yay. so this is what we wanted to hear. A few stiff drinks were had when we got home.
