Damm hot today, pussies laying on the floor tiles, birds sitting with their beaks open and wings out a bit waiting for their water spraying time and in general it is not too nice out side. Have an early start tomorrow, have to be at the hosp by 0730 so leave here at 0630. G will have to lay around waiting for me to be able to come home but can drive through the city,? we shall have to wait and see. I just might have to drive through the busy part till we get to the open motorway then he can drive the rest of the way home. Then back again on Tues morn for the unveiling and check up of the eye. I hate eye drops

Is George not good in city traffic Dottie? Or are you not a good passenger in city trafficDot wrote:Damm hot today, pussies laying on the floor tiles, birds sitting with their beaks open and wings out a bit waiting for their water spraying time and in general it is not too nice out side. Margaret goes in for the camera work tomorrow lunch time so she is on that rapid weight loss drink at the moment, poor bugga, I really hate that part of the whole procedure, apart from the feeling some what violated when the groggy stage wears off

Not that G isn't good in the city but those big black things make it difficult. (so he says) Tell Wendy it is all ok she won't know a thing honest. Remember I told her the same thing last time
It is just that no one has an easy time of getting eye drops in my eyes and G has to do that part for over a week 6 times a day..
Terry, give Margaret our best wishes for her squishes, and tell hot to take anything for granted (if you know what I mean)
and she will be fine as well
Cool change has arrived woo hoo x

Loosen up a little on the Christmas hold next time Dottie, poor George, as if the ear bashing and butt kicking wasn't bad enoughDot wrote:Not that G isn't good in the city but those big black things make it difficult. Good luck with the hospital thingies Dot.
As for the eye drops, I'm sure G will have something in the workshop he can use to crank your eyelids open... that is, after he secures you to the bed ... with the fluffy handcuffs & the used - hmmm maybe better stop here I think don't wanna get too graphic.

Re: Banal .. Open to any topic on and off topics etc
All done and all good
Before I got to the actual theatre the poor nurse had to a total of 3 drops in my eye but she had a real fight on her hands
Got to the bed in the holding bay, saw the nice gas man who put a cannula in and then snuck something in the line and that was that till I was asked to hop into the wheelchair then onto a nice soft recliner where there was a cappuccino, a nice cake, some sandwiches and a fruit platter, I will be in that I was starving
Funny I don't even remember getting to the car, G got us home ok (can't remember) got in the house and went straight to lay on the bed and that was it for 4 hrs. Have the patch on the eye and a numb scalp on the left side but apart from that no worries.. Back to see the specialist tomorrow and she will show G how to get the eye drops in for the next couple of weeks he he.... Wendy no need to worry I would have no hesitation to have the other eye done tomorrow if I had to, Might ask how soon I can get the other one done
