Hard to believe but....

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Hhmmm. Apart from changing your avatar to reflect your new home, you might also change 'God's Country' to 'Gremlin's Country', or some such thing.

Had a great New Yrs with Bruce and Wendy and their Grandkids, a very polite pair, Bruce and Wendy were ok as well. Bruce took us up river and tied up beside a house boat that seemed to be having a wonderful time, they were all in towels or flesh colour bathers it seemed, quite entertaining. With about an hr to go we realised we were tied up too far down stream to see the fireworks, so Bruce motored on up the river a bit further, tied off on another willow tree near the back of the pub, but opposite side of the river. It sure sounded like they were having a wow of a time over there as well. On the stroke of midnight, the black object with a red light positioned in the middle of the river burst into an amazing display of pyrotechnics, directly in front of us and aimed slightly in our direction but very high in the sky, so the light show appeared to be almost set up for us. It would have to be one of the best displays I've seen, not over done and no serious gaps between any of the action. We couldn't have been in a better spot, both Brian and Margaret video'd the event so hopefully Bruce will be able to put it up on his You Tube site. A big thankyou to Bruce and Wendy for hosting such a great New Yrs eve, certainly an outstanding one.

As usual, the gremlin's didn't miss us, flat left hand front tyre this morning on the Mazda, but a trusty 12v elcheapo compressor made it round enough for us to get back to the workshop. We will deal with the flat tyre when we get back in a few weeks as it will be staying here nd we will take the Ford home, the cruise control makes it a much easier and quicker trip and the air con will be much appreciated by all I think :D

Yes, it was a top evening for sure!
Good mild conditions ensured a nice steady cruise.
A big thankyou to Brian (Homeless) for his expertise in tying us up securely and then undoing his handywork when required.
This it a video of festivities.
For those on limited data plans it might pay to give it a miss.

After you use a barbecue bottle of gas to run the engine on you then have to remove it to get the loading ramps up again!

Lucky I didn't do what I was going to then. I was going to drive over at 9pm but the Gman reminded me he hated to travel at night so we watched Flying High2. and laughed at that. Sounds like you all had a good time. :)
