We have just arrived at Bedford- what a disappointment this trip. The great caretakers are not here (looking for a caretaker apparently). Grass needs mowing, bindies everywhere, amenity block badly needs a coat of paint as well as a good clean. Going to get Bruce t connect a hoes to the tap & I shall give the place a good clean. There are only 3 other vans here at the moment, which we expected as off season. Have never seen it so empty.

Well that sounds what it looked like when I was there too!!
I can put up with a lot but I think anyone traveling a thousand KM's to camp there would be a little disappointed.

5 more days to go for the allotted time of the poll.
THEN the decision needs to be made.

I would not recommend here apart from the above, which could be rectified by July, the only spot with enough room would be over the hill & permission is needed to camp there. Another lady & I have just hosed, scrubbed the ladies & told the 3 men to use it as we are not doing the mens!

trying to talk BBA to take on the caretaker for a couple of months as we nothing specific until his specialist app mid June back home. Going to drive into Blackwater to check what they want.
