Nar Jon have to get out to read the scales don't I ?
Yes Happy with most aspects of the GV ground clearance in sand only problem I've had ( got bogged ) but they are a true 4x4 with a centre dif like the Range Rovers . We have had two GV's , but thinking of getting a twin cab ute as next vehicle to tow behind us .

We have a 2000 Terios, 4 door, and have had it over forest tracks and humps etc without a worry. I have even used it to pull tree stumps without spinning a wheel, just press the diff lock button. Fuel consumption on regular unleaded 8.5L/100km. Bought it for $4,800 some? years ago with 105,000km on the clock, now has 175,000km. Capable of a 500kg load.
EDIT: Just checked rego papers to be sure : Tare 1000, GVM 1490

Interesting how a vehicle that weighs just over one third of a Land Cruiser Sahara can carry a heavier load.Newcastle George wrote:We have a 2000 Terios, 4 door, and have had it over forest tracks and humps etc without a worry. We are ever so happy with our GV. Have not done any off road stuff in it but might one day.

Queen of the Banal & OT chatter and proud of it. If it offends you then tough titty titty bang bang.

Re: NRMA Road Service Change.
Very good Terios coming on to the market shortly - with Hitch 'n' Go set up, with 200watts solar panel plus controller plus 100AH battery, with UHF CB, with very upgraded sound/bluetooth system, with added electric windows and remote door locks, with cruise control. 94000 k of which between 25000k and 30000k have been behind the MH (this model keeps the odometer ticking over).

Re: NRMA Road Service Change.
I reckon the premium cover is just a good way to charge us more because our vehicle weighs an extra few kgs
