What are you replacing it with? Reinforced rubber?

That rubber/plastic stuff Bruce you can see in the middle pic of Carol some of the replacement on the bench . (its red)

Thanks Steve , Carol used to do leather work at our farm , a lot went over seas England , USofA .
But mostly for the domestic market . IE. Bags, backpacks, purses, wallets, vests, and so forth , even Chaps for a lady who done Western Pleasure horse riding . We had all the skins tanned to our requirements .
Lucky me its not my machine so I don't have to use it...bit like the lawn mower that's mine ...apparently .

Put this sail track up to accommodate a shade cloth for the side wall - gets very hot on that wall on a good hot afternoon if the MH is facing south.
