Our Journey of a different type for 2015

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Thankyou for all your best wishes, we have not won the war yet but we are winning the battles and that is all we can hope for at this stage, as Kiara is stage 4 we know that our battles are not over all we can hope for is that she remains tumour free for quite some time. We all remain very positive and a lot of research is bring done on the type of Breast Cancer that Kiara has, so we will enjoy the next 3 months as if we have won the war. No travel plans yet as I have my very elderly parents (both 88) needing to make the transition form their own home to maybe full time care or at least more help so they can remain in their own home which is their wish, Dad having surgery last week is not helping things at present, someone up there thinks I need to stay home and not travel at present. Wish he would go away lol
Cheers Ros

Ros,
Keep the Mobile Gnome packed & ready... we do. I'm in the middle of a plethora (big word!) of medical appointments at the moment, so we're trying to squeeze a trip in between them! Not easy, is it? :D

Hi Everyone just a little update on things, we are all travelling well still, Kiara is looking and feeling very well which is wonderful to see ,so hard to believe that we have reached this point when at first we were told to expect the worst, but we know just how unpredictable that Cancer can be. We are all in Qld at present enjoying a wonderful family holiday together ( all twelve of us) we have rented a very large home on the canals in Broadwater Gardens this has all been possible from Kiara's wonderful work mates and friends and some super fun raising. We are hitting the theme parks and lots of rest days inbetween so we can enjoy this amazing house the little members and some of the big members of the family are loving the pool . We have more tests scheduled for June and if all things are still good we just might take the van away for a couple months this is what Kiara really wants us to do :D If I can work out how to post a picture from my iPad I will so if anyone has some ideas for me please that would be great
