fairbairn Dam

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

fairbairn Dam

Post by Macca »

Well here's to a week fishing/redclaw catching /eating hopefully. All reports there are plenty here to be shared around. Met 6 Bundaberg friends here yesterday, so a week of lots of laughs. Hi to everyone.

Yum, Yum... ;)

Please make sure you freeze at least 3 Engel's full of those little red beasties for our gathering - you know, the one that's just around the corner.

Hope your week there is enjoyable.

Ah we had a wonderful feed last night- too man for 8 of us so at the moment we have 9 freezer bags frozen (all to be divided when we leave though) We could sneak off in the middle of the night as the are all in our Engel. Bugger one problem, Mel & Rock (at my party) are parked where we would have to put Nissan to hook up!
Was going to add some photos for you but no where here to add with answer. They are on FB for friends but that no good to you.
Hugs to you both.

Kay if you look just below the box where you write your message you'll see a "Full Editor & Preview" box to click on.
Then you click on "Attachments" & then "add Files" etc etc.
Heard on Murray Bridge Radio station yesterday that a chap has been charged with having too many yabbies in his possession. He had over a thousand.
Limit is 200 per person.

Noticed the photo thing Bruce so shall resize some photo to-morrow- all too big. Bruce no limit on redclaw in QLd as the classed as a pest. Each person is allowed only 4 pots each though.

Redclaw are not a "pest". They are a native animal. Better check the Qld rules me thinks :) . It is only in stocked impoundments' outside their natural range that there are no bag limits

In all the years & all the dams we have been at throughout QLD, we have never been told there is a limit.

Things change Kay, best to check as BBA would be cranky if you could not take his custard into him :)
