Are they all the same shape?

I'd get the shape cut out of say stainless using a laser (2 for each window), and sandwich the flywire in between and with the piano hinge sandwiched too. (assembled with sika?)

Then use a long strip of fridge magnet to make the seal onto the bus wall.

You could test the idea using thin ply, and then use the ply patten to take to the laser man.

Jon, Yep all the shame shape Just a variant in size, was going to do the sandwich thing. Shall have to do some hunting to get the curves cut right. Thanks for all the ideas / suggestions. :)
David, we have been back and forth with the window makers (Alfab) but they have no idea how to make them work, when we contacted them to say the corners were curling they suggested we get super glue and stick them to the frame. When we said that was not the right way to go and it was not up to us to sort the probs out, they then sent more magnetic tape for us to try, then they said they would see what they could do if we took the bus to their Brisbane or Melb shops?? Nah no time for that when in just one trip with them on they fell off and started to unstick so I emailed them to say we were sending them back for a full refund of $600. They agreed so they have been posted.
