One question at a time please & once the person asking the question is happy with the answer they'll say "next question please" & anyone can chime in with the next question. (fun, fun, fun!)

This way the waste heat from the air con is used to heat your hot water, the outside unit is much smaller and an electric fan can be added to the radiator if needed, but there is a lot of water in a bus engine cooling system to heat before the fan was needed.

Good system has been used before in specialised vehicles. Would work very well for a normal fridge too.
One minor issue would be that the engine and radiator will warm up considerably throughout the day. IF your rig is uncomfortable for sleeping with a hot engine -well, you could always leave on the A/C!!
Love it

That was a bit too complicated to make up as a joke I'm quite serious, you want to be the test pilot for my idea?
One of the Rheem domestic elec HWS worked on exactly that principle. Always were outside with the fan pointed to the prevailing wind. Sort of like a close coupled evaporator/condensor.

My idea is an extension of the heat pump principle, why not use the heat from the house area as the heat energy for the hot water, energy conservation, solar powered it become a solar cooled house with solar heat water. The reverse is the stored heat from the day can be used to heat the house at night

Dot there's been a lot of chatter recently about Air Command selling out as well as how power hungry & noisy their units are.
Grab an inverter domestic split one. Panasonic make one I'm VERY interested in for the boat.
Has a plastic guard on the outside unit rather than painted steel that rusts in 6 months!

Trouble is Bruce is the inverter thingy, no room at the Inn and I won't lump it on the outside of the bus.
Queen of the Banal & OT chatter and proud of it. If it offends you then tough titty titty bang bang.
