Reminds me ........ I need to find a couple of correct sized split pins for my trailer axle. Fencing wire is not the done thing!! lol.
I always leave a little slack to allow for expansion on hot roads, hot weather etc.
I've been drastically overloading my little trailer while moving house. It has the older very small Holden bearings! I stop every 60km's to feel how hot the hubs are. One load to go .............
What did you do to your rig today?

Yep heading off again April/may next change the hot water anode and replace a worn tyre . I recently had a wheel alignment done at a truck place at Regency Pk wheel on front left hand side and right rear out quite a bit. Just have to replace front right tyre and should be right to go!

That'd have to be Hancock & Just? They've been doing it for many years & do know what they are doing for sure!! (wheel alignments)
I better tell Terry to go see them for his truck tune up! I forgot to help you check it Terry! Sorry!

I'm guessing that tyre will be completely stuffed by the time I get back to the lake, it's only good for a spare now anyway and no where here I'd get an alignment before I go. Might make an adjustable rod to at least check the toe in, might help a bit.

G has been busy altering the table design also adjusting the lifter for the slightly bigger TV. Then he had to test the "nipple" steady chaps!! that our wonderful mechanic put on the air tank for those occasional times air may be needed.

Terry if you make a rod up, drive up & down your yard about 4 times without touching your brakes or steering before you measure it.
If you adjust it once again do the up & down before you measure it again.

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Been cleaning the bus up to give it a paint job, got sick of working round the door, built a new one for the bus. It had a concertina door which made so much noise, so made another one. The piece of blue material hanging of the door is holding it shut until I put the lock on it today.
Just have to insulate and line the inside of the door and then decide the new paint scheme for the bus. Next is put more panels on and add new awnings I've designed, then it will have all round awnings for the first time.
