As an experiment I replaced the new turbo with the original one and surprise, surprise, I obtained maximum boost of approx 8.25 - 8.5 psi, nearly 1 psi better than that achieved with the new turbo.
I will now leave it be until my trip to Taggerty during which I may be able to make some minor adjustments.

Hi, all.
Sold the expensive ($300) charger, the Evilbay one is far better value at $80.
Thought about giving the bus a polish.

Picked up 7 new wheels today, the big tubeless 22.5" truck wheels for the bus.
$45.00 each, absolute bargain. straight off new trucks which had mags fitted instead.
He has more if others are interested.

He brought them to Adelaide for me and I met him at a depot to pick them up. Cheers,

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Who knicked it Shirley? Must be there somewhere surely?
The question is/was ... what did you/I do to my rig today... well it was yesterday ...
I needed to thread some wiring through the wall in the bedroom. The walls are made out of coolroom panels.
When the boat was built they used a red hot rod to create paths through the polystyrene sandwiched between colourbond steel.
Well I figured I had a million to one chance of intercepting a live wire so proceeded to drill.
Halfway through the polystyrene I felt a tingling sensation .......... yep, straight through the electric wire....
I'm going to buy a lottery ticket soon ....
