Tanks for Tanks!

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It's in Mount Gambier. There a few other 'vehicles' there as well in the RSL war museum.
Corner of Sturt & Ferris Sts .
37.8312111,140.7811265
Google Maps still shows it as Carlin & Gazzards car yard.
Trivia ........ Gazzard raced at Bathurst a few times.

"tanks" here---memories of long ago !!
One of the 1st Armoured Regiment tanks. Notice the black Leopard on the turret.
The new Abrahams have a Lion head on the turret. The black Leopard was the mascot "PARATUS", which was resident at the Melbourne Zoo and attended parades from time to time .
Now that the Regiment is in Darwin the new mascot is a Lion.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
