Poor George, that's what you get for leaving home sweet home. We have had such lovely days, but tonight the wind seems like it may be about to blow into a gale, the waves are getting a bit big on the lake, I can actually hear the crash of the waves on the shore from inside the house! Not bad for a lake hey, nothing ever happens on a lake. . . much.

Travel safely everyone.

What a day, had tea and toast at 7am. showered and shaved then off to the city (hosp) for my rhyzolysis to my neck. Got to hosp by the time specified 1pm. Sat for about half an hr then time to say C U to the Gman for a while and off I went to another section where more questions asked and then I got into those beautiful gowns and a warm fluffy dressing gown and off to yet another waiting room with a dozen or so other s dressed exactly the same apart from the men with their hairy legs and their usual sitting position Yep lags apart and things hanging about so a seat change was in order  . People came and went and I was beginning to think I had been forgotten but they for different Drs to me and one other lady. At 3.40pm we were both escorted through some passage ways to yet another sitting area to twiddle our thumbs. Then a man that looked familiar sat in front of me and ask questions, yes he was the gas man from my prev ops on my spine so after about 5 minutes he said "ok Dot lets go" so another stroll through more rabbit warrens we arrived into the old familiar place known as the operating theatre. There was my Italian stallion in the corner talking to someone so the gas man positioned me face down on the table a pillow under the boobs, arms on arm boards in the superwoman flight position, an oxygen nasal tube was put in position, a small jab in the right hand and that was it till I came around in recovery at 6.30pm I kept them on their toes as the alarm kept going off because my o2 levels were down but I finally made it to another recovery room where I was given sandwiches, a cup of tea, some fruit juice, cheese & biscuits and a couple of other biscuits which was devoured within minutes. BP & o2 levels done again and I was allowed to get dressed and then handed over to the Gman at 8pm. Off home we headed but a drive through at Maccas was a must but we got home at 9pm. I have 4 plasters down my neck so now wait 4-6 weeks to see if any relief, if not well back for the big one. Right now I am buggered, so is Gman he is asleep in his chair.
