What do you do with a man who HATES taking pills! Been on 3 Serc tabs for his Menieres Disease for years. Knows he has to take # A DAY.
As I had noticed him not going straight to the ensuite for his midday tablet & asked him if he was still taking it. No was the reply. Naturally I had my say but he knows the consequences- sure enough sitting around the fire to-night with 4 others, he got up & said "Looks as though I will be taking 3 a day!"
My reply was "Knew this would happen, get the bloody suppository up the but now & you are not getting any sympathy from me. Ugh.
When will he learn. I did not ask how long ago he decided to stop the midday pill but sure will in the am. Out like a light now with 25mg Stemetil up the but!. Asked if he would prefer me to give him the Stemetil injection but declined that offer. I should have insisted saying that the suppositories were out of date!

Next time tell him there will be no custard for 1 week plus a man will be doing the suppository next time (the man with the biggest finger) NO sympathy for BBA

Tell him the suppository will be inserted with the aid of a hammer!

Ray it is not to "move him" but to sedate him & stop nausea & vomiting. He cant keep the Stemetil pills down. WE had to find a compound chemist before leaving home as Stemetil supp are not made any more! So many folk need them. My Dr also gave me a script for the injections in case he ran out of the supp on trip & could not find a compound chemist to make them up. I am dying to give him a jab.
