Do not stop at Duaringa unless you like bat poo over everything- even in the open. All who have stopped here have been commenting how bad they are over there.

When we were there last year they were cutting down all the roosting tree's plus had guns firing all nite plus flashing lights .

We stayed there for two nights recently. The bats arrived every night after dusk. No sign of bat poo on our MH. I couldn't understand why so many RVs chose to camp under the trees, especially on their second night there.
Bats from here North are common. They are one thing that we don't like much. One other is the RVer that came in, parked under a tree, then proceeded to cut every branch off the tree that touched their van, rather than move the van over another foot.
