It just shows that if you pay more you don't always get quality. Yes we had a great time in SA with some retrobates who try to lead me astray
and a bloody expensive trip
cheers Phil

These days it doesn't matter what you buy, if it costs heaps or peanuts you still get crap. What it all boils down to is the almighty $$$$$$$ Why are you calling Bruce, Wendy and Terry retrobates?? I can't be one because now I have to go away and "Google" it.

Oh is this what you meant Phil? A REPROBATE. That's why I couldn't connect with your word RETROBATE's, but hey I do accept the status of REPROBATE
There's no way around it, a reprobate is a bad egg. The black sheep of the family, missing a moral compass — a reprobate's been called everything from a deviant to an evildoer to a scoundrel.
Selfish, depraved, disreputable, a reprobate is not known for his inner goodness. In fact, reprobates were once considered "rejected by God," the meaning of the noun in the 1500s. Throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, a reprobate was a popular literary character, sometimes amusing, as noted in Henry James' Daisy Miller, "What a clever little reprobate she was, and how smartly she played an injured innocence!"

Gee Dot, that would be .......well nearly any other brand of caravan. couldn't help that one sorry.Dot wrote:Not a Jayco van this time Deborah, it is a MORE expensive brand

It's so good to see that Dot's mob tried to lead you astray Phil. I believe that is their main mission in life, and now you have fallen into their evil little trap...be warned, they are really bad retrobates. I thought their denim jackets, covered in peace signs and ban the bomb badges, would have given them away.
A chilly night again in Tuncurry, but it's so good to be in the van.
good night all. xxx
