Norman, depending on the weather these gatherings generally go on for about a week... maybe longer, no set finishing date...

Never wanting to be late for a party, we arrived at Lake Elphinstone Today. We squeezed into about the only remaining spot that would accommodate us. This place has become very popular lately. It's the middle of a bright sunny day and the hum of gennies belonging to the solar deficient hide the majestic sounds of the water birds. Still, it's a lovely spot.

Last time we were there we had the "luck" to have a elderly gentleman (before you say suppin Dot I'm not a gentleman)
He had one of those smallish 2 stroke gennies running all day so he could charge his phone .
We left the next day .
Bernie .

Haha Bernie. Lucky to have a phone signal here. It is one of those spots where the 3G signal comes and goes depending on the time of day, and how many others are using the signal.

We should be there to-morrow. Jon & Kay are you parked on the right or the left of the old amenity block? Hard to believe that there are that many there -all the middle can't be full surely!
Time is passing too quickly so live life to the full with your spouse/partner while you still have she/he by your side.

So is there going to be room for VP and trailer full of wood ?
Leaving in the morning, somewhere around Rocky tomorrow, Emerald the day after, LE on Friday if there is somewhere to prop.
Unless it is worth going to Mackay and coming back down, dunno road conditions, any suggestions ?

We are overlooking the old amenity block. Would I do that if it wasn't full?Macca wrote:We should be there to-morrow. Jon & Kay are you parked on the right or the left of the old amenity block? Hard to believe that there are that many there -all the middle can't be full surely!
I've been speaking to my neighbours to find out when they're leaving. If I'm obnoxious enough this evening it should open up a few spaces by Thursday at least

We'll find room. Just park outside the gate and walk in. I'll meet you and discuss options, and hold your chosen space while you park up.Busman wrote:So is there going to be room for VP and trailer full of wood ?

I would do Duaringa , then Lilyvale, then LE
