Wayne is home in Tocumwal.
Sure looks wet! I bet not much will come this far down the creek.

Re: Floods
They took another row of planks out the lock at Blanchetown yesterday as they are expecting a lot of water through
12 × 5 house boat moored at the present in Mannum Waters Marina.

Re: Floods
2100hrs last night I had a knock on the door, got out and the river had risen. So to move to higher ground I had to wade thru water to get into the ute. Backed up about 4m as it was high tide it never came higher.
I was parked at the ferry road boat ramp parking area [with about 10 others] pulled in here to get out of that terrible storm on the highway thru from Coffs Harbour. I believed I saved one life yesterday MINE. It was the worst weather ever I drove in.

Re: Floods
Yesterday 3/8/16
I have driven thru some of the worst weather for a long time. Now parked north side of the bridge at Macksville and not moving again today.
Wind and rain very powerful.
At 2100 hrs, knock on 5'er door "have you seen the water height?"
I got out and had to walk into water to get into the ute and back up about 4m as the front wheels were in the water. The river had risen, it was high tide. there is about 10 of us here. Contacted the Police and asked them if the tide comes in any higher would they come and warn us. OK they said. It is past tide was at 2030 hrs at the entrance to the river but Macksville is about 25k upstream so it may not be for another hour here. Plus its still raining but not as heavy as earlier and wind has dropped a good bit.
Today I went outside and the water had been back as far as my 5'ers wheels but all gone so I just drove off now back on the farm at Port Macquarie.
