But neva mind, we all had lovely fresh chocolate lamingtons for morning cuppa time - best we've ever tasted - & so light we had to look at our hands to make sure we'd actually picked one up.

Happy Birthday Chuck, are you still in the central Qld area? Those lamingtons sound nice but not the true traditional lamington all the same, the originals were made from day old (or older) sponge cake to get them out of the shop

Chuck, If it was your birthday, then I hope that you have had a good one, and you are allowed to be spoiled. You just need to remember to reciprocate that thought. And it wasn't your birthday then hope that you made the most of it anyway.
