Not quite the campground I had in mind to see the wildflowers.

Got in two days of flowery sightseeing. Pulled up in Pindar after 4400km of "gotta get there soon!"
TEN km out of this 2-house town we found THOUSANDS of wreath flowers lining the dirt road.
We'd heard of GNs boarding bus tours and finding one or two after decent search. We were told by one of the three locals that this has been the best season for native flowers in a donkey's age. The RFDS nurse (more on that later) said she grew up in the area and has never seen the wreath flowers as prolific.
SECOND day of sightseeing took us to Coalseam NP. More magnificent displays & spectacular land as backdrop.
Back at base after the day we were unpacking the picnic gear when I tripped UP the step & snapped my R Femur. Of course, we were out of phone range. Joy went to campers nearby for help, & while several kept watch on me she drove to the ex-pub/cafe in Pindar for help.
An hour later the ambos arrived, and after extracting me from the m/h stairwell hied me off to Geraldton Hosp. One look at X-Rays of the hip & they called in the RFDS. Only 30-odd minutes later I was en route for Royal Perth Hosp, & surgery in the wee hours of Sunday last.
All I have to do now is learn to walk again!

Full points to the RFDS NURSE who kept me comfortable in flight while also giving full care to a demented woman also on board. She kept my mind off the pain with friendly chat as well as morphine.
KTA has the task of organising recovery of Girt & Jim (the toad) from Perth to Rutherglen. Joy drove the combo from Pindar to Perth in two days!
She has been a tower of strength for me while I've lain helpless in Hosp.
LUV YER, SWMBO! Forty years ago she said 'I do' - and she still does.
