The block goes back up the hill into an unused farm. There is a sort of road up to 2 flat sections up there so more exploring to see if vehicle parking is possible/permissible. Might make an excellent spot for a get together, the view from up there is spectacular, full river view and across the hills on the other side.

I guess we will still live here when we have people staying here...... come to think of it, that is most of the time...... hmmm, a rethink is in order, not the house part, life would be very short if I was to suggest backing out of that one, I'm sure there is an easy solutionBruceS wrote:Very nice! Well done you two. Enjoy. Bugger the gardening get someone in monthly to do it and stop fretting over grass etc. I know a lady that may well be just right for that job NO NOT me. Hold off the party till we get back

Re: Congrats to T1 and Margaret!
The huge lawn out the front is close on the limit to using a pair of scissors, not much yard at all, mostly multi-level garden stuff, but up behind the place on the hill there is lots of yard. We are still trying to figure out where our yard ends and the drainage pipes begin...... we know roughly where the drainage pipes are as it looks like a narrow road, but not sure if it's in our property boundary or not, then there is another piece marked off with drainage pipe markings that is bigger than out house block of 980 something sq mtrs... still trying to find out if it's part of our place or what, our place is the only one with that marked on the area plans....... I'd hate to be responsible for mowing that lot.Newcastle George wrote:Just a little more yard than at Day St.,Terry. Looking good!
