Re: Good morning daily
Hi Bernie,
rain is a good thing, the bus shouldn't shrink and it helps find if there are any leaks, Often these leaks do not become obvious until the bus is used in wet weather and at various angles of wind and rain. including driving in the rain.
I wound up with a leak into the a/c duct, which runs down the center line of the roof, I could not find it, I spent months looking for it,trying to to find where it was, spraying a hose on the roof, just didn't seem to work, it only became apparent when the bus was laying at a certain angle, when the water came out of the front vent. I ended up pulling the solar panels off, rearranging them, taking them off again, leaving the angles in place, re-arranging the wiring through a junction box on the roof, then painted the roof with "Therma shield" a good thick coat brushed over every visible seam then three coats over the whole roof, finished off with two coats of the gloss finish. fixed the leak.
If I was doing it again I would use a textured roller to put on the base coats, not a brush as they suggest, I painted right down to the drip rail above the windows, and the brush marks are obvious, to me any way.

Say G'day to Eddie for Margaret and myself please Bernie. Another drizzling rain day today by the look of it, but not too cold so the warmer weather is on its way.... then I guess the dry season will start.

Re: Good morning daily
We had rain most of the day y'day, this morning we have sunshine with a cold westerly wind ripping across the lake, weird weather patterns.

The is ice in the air here this morning, overcast and a rather ordinary day all round, but still a good day to be alive.
