So it went for 30kms - but were you able to turn the steering around so that you could do the 30kms back home?

Is the steering wheel in the same position Bernie? I had to alter the drag link on the Civilian so I could see the gauges through it!
On your bus it would probably be good to have one 'spoke' at 4:30 position for one handed relaxed long distance driving.
Leave the other hand free for CD playing, radio tuning or even nose picking..............

Re: Bernie and Carols Isuzu fit out.
I have removed the brake drums and paraphernalia from the "old" axle these pics are from the drivers side .
For the uninitiated they are the brake shoes . The passenger side is ok . Jon and David I tried to remove the cotter pin from the other side with a LARGE sledge hammer no go I think they are pressed in and have to be pressed out so not a job on the side of the road (at home neither) .
The new brakes seem to be better than the old ones .
