Hi Macca,
The problem with trying to Identify any plant, particularly from a photo, is the common name varies so much from area to area, and it appears that I probably mis-identified it. there is a big stand of Pawlonia just outside Kingaroy heading towards Dalby, the lilac coloured flowers come before the leaves, and look something like wisteria flowers. When they are cropped for stock feed they often do not flower, they can also be grown for timber, maturing in 15 to 20 years at around 12m in height.
"Paulownia. the fastest growing hardwood on the planet. Paulownia trees, paulownia wood and paulownia timber investments opportunities. Light but immensely strong, Paulownia has unique properties that differentiates it from other timber varieties. A unique market advantage. A highly profitable investment that is utterly satisfying for anyone interested in making a serious commitment to the environment."

Just a few spots this arvo but nothing to speak of. Near to a place that sounds like Barnie Rubbles son.

By the sounds of it Dot it might pay to grow some roots for a few weeks until the country dries out a bit.
How is Brian coping with the healer? lol

Dot, There is a grumpy old man that lives somewhere near where you are. His wife is lovely though. You should stop and visit him for a while because most of the roads down south are a little inundated. And besides, it's still school holidays up here. Don't let Brian try to eat the dogs, he will get stuck in their teeth.
What is pussy grass?........ maybe I shouldn't ask that question.

Kept the old grump up way past his bed time (nearly 10pm)
Pussy grass had a drink of seasol to see if that will revive it, Brian loves his grass.
