Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
Hi all.
Well, we travelled from (nearly) the east coast to (nearly) the west coast of Oz.
En route, we passed many an historic building.
This was one of them.
Where is it?

The big cigar goes to VicA!!
It's in Peterborough's main street, across the road from the Info Centre railway wagon. It is now home to several small shops.
Yes Dot, VR is not Victorian Railways, but Victoria Regina. Her profile is in the middle of the building facade. Had Bruce fooled!
Building was apparently erected in tribute to Queen Victoria's 60th year on the throne by the loyal citizens of Peterborough in the thriving colony of South Australia. In 1897 Peterborough was a boom town with FIVE railway gauges meeting there for trans-shipping of goods, including ore from mines which was destined for Port Augusta's smelters.
