Re: Who turned the lights out?
Dot, tried to get out of Strathalbyn via Callington Road at 5.00 this morning. Road flooded just a few k's out. Had to go back via Mt Barker.

Re: Who turned the lights out?
Me think someone has turned on the light in the sky. Not sure but it looks like a fire ball in the distant sky.
Bet it wont last as they predict more wind and rain for at least the morning. Just as well I did not spry the weeds the other day as it would have been another lot of poison wasted.

Yep, still floating! Wasn't so gusty overnight. Was just strong winds and a bit of rain.

Re: Who turned the lights out?
I saw that fireball you described. It was extinguished as fast as it appeared.

Hey Bruce,
With all the flooding in your area, has the water flooded your basement yet?

Todays was suppose to be our good day but saw little sun but the batteries are still full. This Lithium bit is no good.
Went out to the water fall today really rushing through there.
Had some fun took lots of photos but dont have a program on this computer to compress so cant show you, just have to take my word for it

Re: Who turned the lights out?
Not much flooding around Mannum Ray. Mannum is really in a rain shadow tucked in behind the Mount Lofty Ranges.
A little bit gets over the top to reach us but not a lot.
All the water rushing down the Mannum Water Falls at present comes from many KM's away, off the backside of the ranges.
Not much water soaks into granite.... it all just runs off.
This is a photo from the upper carpark with a cheap phone camera.
Brian is going to go out & get some good shots with the RIGHT gear!! (hint!)

Re: Who turned the lights out?
Looking bleak and more on the way again. We were thinking of heading north up the Cobby Hwy to Denny and Hay but looks very wet and boggy. Have to play it by ear.
