Kappy you still have AGM batteries don't you?
THe alarm was from the inverter meaning low volts.
Most/all lead/acid batteries drop voltage under load and immediately recover again on switching off load.
I'd say the 2,000 w was enough to drop the voltage enough to trigger low volts.
LiFepo4 batteries do not drop any where as much under load.... if at all.
Over doing the size of your cables MIGHT help a little bit?

Went away for a while and on return checked voltage percentage and still at 100% when checking water temp discovered no power from house batteries.

Discovered system had tripped at circuit breaker, reset power and withing minutes circuit breaker tripped again.

Seems as though my U beaut HWS is giving me the irits again.

HWS works fine on mains 240v,

I sort of had an understanding that a 2000 watt inverter may run the HWS, thought I read it on another post.

Any clues more than welcome.
Circuit breakers have a nasty habit of doing that, I have gone back to fuses because of this problem. Use mega fuses and fuse holder in place of the circuit breaker and this should solve that part of the problem. A 250 amp fuse should cover the total load of the inverter and fridge, actually is all your system 24vincluding the inverter? If so the fuse size can be reduced to 125 amps, mega fuses are good for up to 32v and not arc over.

what does the specofications of the HWS say?

you're looking for the element amps. or element watts number.
I had a look but couldn't find anything obvious on the unit.

Online specs indicate
240 volt - 50 HZ AC, 1440 watts - 6 amp for Electrical

So one would think there would be plenty spare.

The circuit breaker that tripped is is 70 amp type, located below regulator in pic.

The other pic depicts my 2000 watt inverter.

Currently I have 4 100 ah AGM batteries, I believe are only about 12 months old.
Any idea what cost to convert to lithium.

Most of my system is 24 volt except for HWS, microwave TV's and 1 electric cooktop element.

Still learning about all this stuff.

It looks as though that circuit breaker is wired from the solar regulator, is it on the load side? You should have the inverter wired to the battery with much bigger cable than that and a mega fuse in the positive cable. Both the negative and positive cable need to be 0 gauge or heavier, so 50mm sq conductor or bigger, the cable from the Steca looks to be only 8 gauge at best and that is only 8.3mm sq conductor.

Yes it looks like something is connected to the "load" terminals on the solar controller. Remove them I reckon.
They're only any good for a security light or camera or some other very minor wattage. (in my opinion)

Clearly I have a lot more to learn about my system.

Even with the Bus batteries isolated and the the main power switch off I still have house lights (24v led) and 24v fridge.

Any way my new A/c arrived today, so some reading to do plus some careful planning and re arranging to be done.

Was the sun still on the solar panels? A word of warning, always disconnect the solar before disconnecting the battery, the solar controller freaks out when its stable load is gone and can start to do all sorts of strange things, the main one is unstable voltage and sensitive 24v stuff will get damaged.

Batteries are still connected, I just turned the main switch off (mains power/Inverter power)

Someone suggested I may have a low voltage issue???

I need to figure out to test to best and safest way to test my batteries and my inverter.

Mainly cos I live 2-3 hours from experts

Surest way to disconnect batteries is to disconnect the nagative leads and tape the leads over...
