Hi All.
Person cant do a thing without everyone knowing.
I am trying the houseboat life as I always wanted to and the kids gave me the shits last time I visited so I thought I would give it a go stuff the expense.
The boat is not that big 12m x 5 m with only one large bedroom and the forward cabin with kitchen etc. Onsuite toilet in bedroom and shower in front section. The boat will become a man boat converted to be comfortable for me and stuff the kids and hangerons. It will have the double bed and two recliners one in each room and I have a nice 4 seater expanding dinning setting
Had to be slipped to get insurance risk assessment to be able to moor in the marina,it passed all sections easily and got very good in each section. Actually the person doing the inspection said I got a very good deal as it was worth more than I paid for it.
The pontoons could carry a boat twice the weight easily and I sit 18" above a larger boat alongside me in the marina.
The bus and trailer will be used at times for the next two years and then one must go so I will give both a try and decide on the outcome.
The boat seems huge after the bus.
If you want a bit of a presual go to

I did not pay anywhere near what he was asking for.
I have to pass the medical problem before I can do too much but hoping to get to the boat a do some cleaning and removing HIS stuff and replacing with mine.
I will convert to lithium and 240v and use a second hand aircon that is cluttering the workshop (see how kind I am to remove excess STUFF to give Margaret more room) and need to do a bit of carpentry for a new pantry and a bit more storage as well as the protection for the inverters etc.
12 × 5 house boat moored at the present in Mannum Waters Marina.
Converting to LiFePo4 for float alone status
