Is it a CellLog8M or 8S? Only need one logger as the cells in parallel are seen by the logger as a single cell, 4 in series add up to 12.8v nom. so you need a 5 wire plug. I have the Junsi loggers and plugs in stock, both the 8M and 8S (logging type can record 7 days or more battery activity at 30 sec intervals) and 5 wire (4 cell 12v), 6 wire (5 cell 15v) and 9 wire (8 cell 24v) plugs. We generally use the M type for control and the S type for those who want to be able to record a log and view it on the computer. It makes it easier for me to diagnose problems as well as the log can be sent via email.

Hi Terry, it's the logging type. If i knew you carried these items i would have preferred to spend my money locally with someone that contributes so much to the cause.
Thanks.
Terry has most of the required stuff these days

As a matter of interest, how many $$ did you pay for the Cell log 8S? And where did you end up finding one, they vanished from Hobby Kings site and Progressive RC had them one minute then back order the next, so we ended buying them direct, not an easy task even with an inside China contact, Junsi are a strange mob to deal with directly.
Drop me an email or PM with what bits you are after and I can tell you if we have them or where best you can buy them.

Not quite Native Pepper, the first one is extremely unreliable and has very few of the functions required, the second one I have to admit I've never tested but I have my doubts it would be capable of testing the capacity of a 400Ah 24v battery pack for instance, more rated for a few Ah model batteries I would guess. The other issue is no driver alarm port that I can make out and no idea if it is configurable between N/O and N/C and the various alarm points adjustable and the ability to switch off the alarm port facility but leave the audio, change various audio alarms so a particular alarm gives a particular sound.... lots of stuff the Junsi does that the others do not, being able to store and download a data log yet the unit remains the same case size puts them well ahead of anything in its class. It's not that they don't have their faults mind you, but at the price they are miles in front of the next level up and way in front on size.
Then there is the bonus of the donationware support for the downloaded files, what can be extracted from this information is quite extraordinary and I don't know why the techno-tinkers haven't dabbled in these little beasties capabilities, it really does make all the data collection by a certain person rather lacking and adds a whole world of learning into the cell level behaviour of LYP and LFP cells under each different yet every day load/charge condition. A whole world of learning the differences between information gathered from electric vehicle use and the information gathered from house battery use, the two are really nothing alike even though the same cells are used for both tasks.

That second one looks very similar to my twowatt meter
Has balance function as well as instant cell readout. For what it is, it works surprisingly well. Alarms when a cell or two gets out of whack

Martin, what have you had to do then, when the alarm sounded?
Put on your foil hat and run for the bunker, they are about to eat into your brains or explode or make you sterile or..... there must be some other things these gateways to hell it self are capable of.... or it just me that is the gateway to hell or satan himself.... still trying to figure that one out as the whole mood when lithium is mentioned has changed The alarm says you need to look at why it wants your attention, something that should happen automatically hasn't happened and it wants to tell you about it
