Dot that's why snakes have no hands way way way back even before computers were invented a snake turned a beer tap on . You can see the results even today .

It is really bucketing down at the moment here in upper Mannum, the rattle of the odd hailstone as well, too noisy to work so I'm heading home early

Ummm...... it was a tad more severe here at the house. The roof on the back patio shattered so Dottie's plan to move the birthday back to their place was a fortuitous call.... how's that for a big word eh
The main street of Mannum was flooded over the footpath in a number of places, the rivers running down every side street and set of steps had to be seen to believe, the water running down monument hill was quite a stream all by itself and the bit between the sevo and hospital was rather deep, as was many sections on the road towards the house.

There was quite a waterfall over the back wall as well, not sure if we have photo of that, or the white layer on the front lawn and garden from the hail
