 Quite dramatic when the big storms come through, but they pass quickly and the water clears away quick. No sooner had the rain stopped than the council bucket loader was out and about returning dirt to where it belonged rather than across the roads, I guess they are used to these events around this time of yr but it's our first experience of it and it was quite entertaining
On to the insurance people on Monday I guess to get it fixed, might see if we can replace it with solar tinted Lexan Thermoclear this time to reduce the heat passing through and make it a bit more hail resistant, although they were coming down like they'd been shot out of a cannon on the car roof driving home, would be surprised if there are a few smashed windows around town.

OMG, who has been to a loo other than your own and found out by sheer irritation that the paper you used so violently on your poor bum ring has something in it that your bum is allergic to???? Talk about the good old days and the results of the ritual shaving for childbirth and the horrific itching that caused you to duck into shop doorways for a quick scratch, that has nothing on this itch of the "ring of fire" Into the shower and aimed the spray of cool water right on the clacker to get some relief, note to myself.... always carry some of your own loo paper in my hand bag!!.. Aaarrhhhhhhh that's better.:) (had to share that with you)

TOO MUCH INFORMATION, DOTTIE!! :o:
What's worse is the near-transparent stuff... takes several metres of the paper to do what 900mm should do!

Not as bad as the wax paper in some dunnies.

Would rather there wasn't any paper if that is what it does to you :) :) :)

We had that stuff on our pergola roof in Melbourne. Certainly cut the heat transmission by about 75%, and it withstood some pretty impressive hailstones. We've recently had the translucent fibreglass on the current ODLA replaced with the same Lexan. ;)
It should be called "ThermoNUclear"... I reckon it should survive an atom bomb! :P
Lexan is the stuff they use in bank teller screens now. Withstands a 12-gauge at 300mm!

Some with delicate dates have taken to carrying the small wet ones packs that mothers with kids in nappies add to their kit of shopping essentials. Dottie, if you use recycled toilet paper
