Our Journey of a different type for 2015

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Hi Everyone, Well another 3 months have passed and more scans and tests were done last week and it is with great joy that I can report that Kiara is still tumour free yay. She keeps defying the odds and our fingers are crossed that she will continue to do this, we are feeling very blessed at present. More blood tests in three months then more scans just before Xmas. Kiara is looking well and still has that amazing outlook on life and is madly saving up for a follow up trip back to Fiji in Feb 2017 she has fallen in love with the country and its people.
Now she has also been very kind to her poor old Mum and Dad and given us permission to get the caravan out and run away for 3/4 months we plan to leave at the end of the month and head north but no exact plans yet. Just a little excited about the whole thing.

Cheers Ros & The BOSS

Wonderful New Ros, Kiara obviously has a very strong spirit and deserves all she and all involved have worked towards, a clear report and a positive future ahead.

Hi, Yes we are still traveling but sadly heading home after a wonderful 3 months away, ticked a few places off our bucket list the main one being Birdsville, we were lucky to make it there after and before the rains, we have camped on many rivers and outback places and have certainly recharged our batteries. The only problem was lack of phone and Internet services and one broken windscreen .
The good news is that Kiara had follow up blood test in September and we are very happy to say all is still good, more scans in Nov. so fingers crossed she keeps defying the odds.
We are now heading home and trying to work our way around the mid NSW floods, a couple of our camp spots are under water so they will have to wait till another time .
Hope everyone is travelling well and staying safe
Cheers Ros and The Boss

Hi everyone Me again, been awhile posting but have been checking up on you lot every now and then. We have been home about 5 weeks now and as you all you know when you hit home your feet hardly hit the ground catching up on things that get left when your away, also catching up on family etc. We have been doing a lot of babysitting also and a few trips to Gippsland to start the process of putting my Mum into care not a job I wanted but it has fallen on to me to do, :? distance makes it even that much harder when they live over 3hours away and on the other side of the city to us.
We had a wonderful 3 months away and enjoyed the break. And recharged our batteries for the coming year.now the good news is Kiara had her Nov. scans and she is still tumour free and still defying the odds YAY :D more blood tests in Feb. and scans again in April. If things are still good we hope to head to the west after her results and between her next tests, you have to keep making plans.
Do hope everyone is well and those still travelling please stay safe.

Cheers Ros and The Boss.
