What did I do this time?

One question at a time please & once the person asking the question is happy with the answer they'll say "next question please" & anyone can chime in with the next question. (fun, fun, fun!)

Maybe some of the CF redmen laid off the red stuff for a while it wouldn't hurt.
Seems that a little power created paranoia amongst some of them and when a few of their sacred cows were questioned it was simply too much for them and they started banning every one that didn't agree with ...... I was gunna say 'Them' but it's deeper than that and more wide spread, like a rot from contact with a moldy stump.

I visit a few forums a day,( yehh I know .... Get a life ) and sometimes it's my only entertainment seeing a few dedicated dinosaurs trying to suppress those that think outside the square.
Electrical stuff , subjective and objective, is in a state of evolution and some still want to preach the old dry cell + earth theory as being the best thing since the wheel was invented.
Quite funny at times.
Hope its a bit better here.

I know what the "I visit a few forums a day,( yehh I know .... Get a life )" I have 16 of them that I post on so getting banned from a few lightens the load
There is just so much information out there, just needs the right questions or odd dumb statement to flush it out, I have been know to put in the odd fly trap myself to drag out two sides of an argument.. I mean debate. Unfortunately some admin members get a trigger finger and want to jump on everything, no information flows then.
Personal attack can be very hard to gauge sometimes, I thought when Neil poofed the two posts it was a bit over the top, in hind sightt maybe I should have sent that post as a PM rather than on the open forum as it appears he took offence to his authority or decision being questioned, that's about the only thing I can think of that may have triggered it. Simply telling Oldtrack to do the experiments himself if he was that interested surely wouldn't have triggered a banning even though he has a hair finger for the report button.
They have chassed that many knowledgeable and interesting people away from that forum I think I might put that one on the back burner, it's near dead as a technical information source now. Just gotta figure out how to get the clever ones over here without the trolls.

Oh, you have to be clever to be on this forum, I didn't know that was an entry requirement,.

Does being a smart arse qualify instead of clever? :o

Well I was rather shocked to see Terry was BANNED from the forum. So in a matter of months we have lost 2 highly knowledgable people. Terrific we now have to put up with those that think they know it all. How am I going to get that Kangaroo stew recipe now? I hope to be able to catch up with him elswhere.
Peter

Maybe Terry might invite him if known to Terry as a good guy?
