Not sure you would call it a negative David. If things are directly powered by the solar that is bonus, no real need to know that part, just how much is coming out or going into the battery and how much storage there is to get you through the night and maybe the next day if it rains.
I did get a photo but not quite the same conditions, 120 amps and 1690w but as the battery voltage was at 13.8v flicking the 13.9v the Dingo may have been trimming the input to hold down the voltage. At one stage we had both head units running on full set for 18*C while 37*C outside yet still had 85 amps going into the battery. I was hoping to do a test with the DC to DC plus the mains charger plus full solar all going in at the same time, but it took quite a bit longer to get the 35mmsq dual core cable threaded through and Anderson plugs and the VSR cabled up, so the sun had left for the day by the time we were at testing stage.
The 2 B&S (35mmsq) cable made a huge difference to the voltage drop and therefore current at the input end of the 40 amp DC to DC, from around 9v and 65 amps with the 6 B&S down to 13.4v and 44 amps with the 2 B&S cable. It did require a bit of creative design to get the 35mmsq cable into 16mm sq cable ports on the charger and 35mmsq cable into 1/0 Anderson lugs in the 175 amp plugs, but a tad of silver soldering cable joined lugs together did the job.

I'll put the photos just as soon as Margaret's phone gets through with its latest upgrade.... and Margaret has calmed down again after finding what stupid things were part of the update

Come on... you can never have enough gauges. [emoji6]

He has the most gauges is the most confused? 2 Junsi loggers, a Dingo, Victron BMV700, Victron IC2000 and Victron IP5000, none of them agree when it comes to battery voltage, but close enough to give a general indication. People who already have the Dingo or PL20 and shunt adapter I connect all the solar or all the charging through the Plasmatronics shunt, then on to the Victron shunt, quick bit of math between the 2 indicates how much of the solar or other charging is being used directly by the load as the Plasmatronics shows the total and the remainder appears on the Victron BMV as going into the battery. After a few mths I ask if they still calculate how much of the solar is used directly by the load, still haven't had anyone say the religiously watch any of the gauges after the first mth or so, just glance at the Junsi logger to see what the cell balance is and if the weather has been crap, what the SOC is according to the Victron BMV. The most common reason given, it just does what it's supposed to whether I watch it or not, so I found something else to do with spare time 8-)

I would. I have had many people who just have a battery monitor tell me there solar isn't working properly, all because they don't have any way of reading the soar input, just the residual going to the battery.

I do agree the more gauges causes more confusion too. My gauges are neatly integrated all into the one user control panel, so it makes things easier to read. I even have the better half trained, and I catch her looking at the meters sometimes. Occasionally, she will turn around and say something like "1KW going in - woo hoo!" Makes me laugh...

The key is training. Whenever I install something that includes a BMV, I get the better half to do the training to make sure I am not speaking too technical. It's easy to get people's eyes to glaze over ;)
