Glen,

Ted, whose last name I can't remember, a model aircraft multi champion lives at Leigh Creek (Ballarat). You might be aware of him. If you want to track him down I can give you directions.

Glen,
Have just sent PM in reply.
Forgot to ask:
Are you on the early (sparrow-fart) departure, or the evening sailing?
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Steve thanks for the offer but we will not have the time to fit in all the great suggestions on the way down. With reference to model aircraft competitions we don't get many southern competitors travelling up to Queensland and visa versa. But reading the national model mags I do know that most aero disciplines are very well supported in Victoria.

Thanks again.

Hello Ros, we just arrived in Bendigo and we are booked into the Central Deborah gold mine underground tour tomorrow. We have signed indemnity forms in case we don't come back up to the surface. If we survive tomorrow we will be in Ballarat on Friday. We would love to meet you and Ivan and put face to name, to see if all the nice things Dot has said are true.

I was planning on giving you a ring tomorrow.

Rivett, Glen. His name is Ted Rivett. It's funny how a name eventually comes to you. I had Pop in my head, Popoff or Popovich - I couldn't get it and then it happened. Pop Rivett.

I was going to offer it to Ros as she was closer, easier to pick up as we are just down the road.

As we came into town yesterday we were at a red light waiting to turn right and a tram was facing us and I could see the track was turning in the direction we wanted to go. When I did my driver training many moons ago I don't believe we covered trams. We got a green arrow but I didn't move until the tram went. I hope I don't come across one of those funny right turns from the left side of the road.

The other states should have normal road rules like QLD, that should generate a comment. :D :D :D
