Quiet ?
We had a quiet night last night.
Sat around a fire in the backyard drinkin Stout and CabSav (at different times through the evening)
Annee bailed at about 12.30 and I let the fire die down about 3.
Great night with the ukuleles, harmonicas, and Molly chasing possums.

A group of us went to the Glenorchy RSL and came back to the Showgrounds to watch the fireworks from the grandstand, couldn't see much as someone put a bloody great Hill in the way. After it was over I was coming down the very dark grandstand and missed a step and twisted my ankle, I was almost sober I swear. So have spent the day with it looking very bruised and elevated on a chair. Good thing it only happens once a year.

Nothing wrong with a bit of flipping and floppin to see the year out Dot, but till 2am, wowDot wrote: I was trying to do that but just flipped and flopped till around 2am!

Everything illegal is available just more expensive

Well, I did mention on another thread that I doubted I'd get on a 'puter New Yrs day
Didn't wake up until 11 am, watched the women's BBL game, did a bit to help Margaret with her pot plant and garden furniture rearranging, had a visit from Bruce & Wendy and visitor Joan, then watched the news and men's BBL, various naps on the lounge through most of the TV watching I must admit, then back to bed before the second over of the Perth game cause doing bugga all is very exhausting work.
As for New Yrs eve.... what happened on NYE should stay on the Kreek Kruiser, but it was great night and the fireworks didn't disappoint either, so a great big thankyou to Bruce & Wendy for another great New Yrs boat cruise.

Lazy bugger Terry,
today I finished off more re potting plants then dug up and divided some plants split them up and made a new garden bed, raked up some old bark ready for new mulch to be chucked down. They do say the garden is what people tend to notice when they come house hunting.. Next on the agenda is to re do the pergola that went rotten due to the "builder" using un treated timber. Weather getting hotter towards the end of the week so get those outside jobs done while you can. Off to Aldi tomorrow

Sorry, Dot. Couldn't help it. In the past I bought some double sided tape - very thin, like cello tape but good adhesive both sides. Might have to google specialty adhesive stores to find it.
