Yes... about every 3 or 4 weeks. Trying to grow, cut & bale lucerne in among them was a nightmare!
I used to cut the crop down straight after one went past hoping I could complete the process in the 'window' of opportunity.

The answer is (generalizing) we think one thing but say another in case the climate Nazis hear us.
That should spark up some conversation. [emoji38]

 A denialist perhaps  Ice doesn't tell lies, check out the ice cycles around the nth pole and you will see the undeniable trend, then look at the average world temp and which way it is going. The causes, who really knows, but it's hard to deny the rising temp ;)

Ya mother earth has been cycling since long before man was around....... And my bet is long after we are gone. The thing that gets me is the belief that we have the power to change it. Toss money at it!! And the rich get richer......

Man-Made/NOT Man-Made...
Either way,
I don't want to freeze my little whatsits off!
If we can slow the temperature rise by half a degree, I'm for it.
I see the global average temperature is UP again, and Oz has recorded the warmest year in history in 2014, 2015, and again in 2016.
Anyone care to lay money on a cooler 2017?
Regards & God bless,
Ray

Some of it is a bit twisted I'll admit, there is no reason why the rich should gain from the mess they were part of making but as an intelligent species we need to at least try not continue with business as usual. If we can contain the temp rise there is a chance our kids will be able to adapt to living in a warmer climate. The biggest issues will be the loss of land area, there were no where near as many people on the planet the last time it happened and a very large land area was lost to the ocean yet the human race adapted. The loss of the cities built on the coastline and river edges will be catastrophic for those in the developed world but maybe we will learn a bit about city planning when we rebuild. Build cities where the land is poor, not on the rich fertile soil like we do now. We have the ability to transport goods any where today so city location is not dependant on river or sea ports, yet to see if we as the supposed smartest of the animals learn from the errors of the past.
