Dirk's knee op

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dirk's knee op

Post by Dot »

How come we were not told about the knee op that you had some 5 weeks ago Mr Dirk? Were you afraid to tell us that you were in tears with the pain and that Mary thought you were a little sooky la la? OK a bit of an exaggeration but not by much. ;) Time you really headed off in your beautiful MH. Hope all goes well with the recovery, 5 weeks is not that long so keep up the physio.

Never again Dot, hell will freeze over before i ever go back for the other knee or any other joint. Talk about pain. Nurses we good though. They deserve medals for the way they look after you. The hospital cooks though should be deported. Couldnt eat a thing in there.

All the meals or so they are called are now done outside the hosp , everything rep packed and the same old taste of cardboard (even in the private hospitals). Sounds like you had a crappy Dr to start with Dirk, yes the knee is a painful op but not to the point of forgoing all other ops unless another Mr patel is back...

We were parked at Harden for a big rigs thingy, one of the participants had a hip done, 1 x 8 cm cut, walking withing 1 hr of recovery, NO PAIN whatsoever he said, back home in Young the afternoon after the op, which was done in Sydney. Some of the knee guys are doing similar now I am told, so pays to shop around.
