New LED torch

Post by RussellB[SA] »

Go me one of these yesterday at Bunnings for $35?

Uses C cells and reported to last 30 hours driving s little (cree) LED.

The torch is a clamp with swivel rotating head, clamp it on something and pint the head where you want, the beam reputed upto 100ft at 80 lumens.

Looks handy for breakdown stuff like under the bonnet or changing a tyre. How does the handle lock as a clamp?

Nah, doesn't lock, fairly hefty spring clamp only, I like it which is why I bought it.

Looks like a fair bit of design work has gone into it Russell.
I'll see if any are around next time I visit a town that has a Bunnings.
Dot that Bunnings in Murray Bridge is an absolute disgrace!
Very unfriendly workers there that look like they got dragged from the bottom of the 'heap' & there are very few items that you'll find in the 'warehouse' stores.
For such a big town it could/should be much much better.
Mt Gambier has a new Master's Store....... have you seen one yet?
Similar to Bunnings but also sell all electrical appliances. (offshoot of Big W)

Glad you wrote that post BruceS, boy I copped it big time for daring to say such a thing and of course I conquered that but you are right about that store but hey it is Murray bridge 8-) The Mt Barker one is better but Those Masters stores will give them a run for their $$.
