If it wasn't so far away we'd pop up & wave goodbye. Have a safe trip!
Better give Dot your contact details as I reckon she'll be up that way in a month or so too?
Please keep in touch!

Ok folks I'm back....did I hear a sigh ?
Well what a weekend I finally met Keith (Tanks) to his friends and Russell his trusty companion . We talked on for quite a while about saving the world from what ever...nar we didn't we just talked and I hope Keith enjoyed my company as much as I did spending some face to face quality time with him .
A cuppla photos ...Carol will have to shop were "Tanks" shops as my shirts are way to big???....enough frivolity.
Bernie . And a thank you to Selwyn for assisting with the camera .

Certainly did a good job on that air con Tanks. Yeah Tanks have you checked that the watch is not a fake, that Bernie is one cool dude, a tad slippery as well & It must be warm to see you in a summer shirt.

"tanks" here---
BruceS----I trust BernieQ , I still have the watch mate.
The jeweler in Maryborough has given me a quote to service it at $950.00 and it will take him 4 days. I don't think I will leave the watch with him as he is not an authorised Rolex service centre. His price may not include genuine Rolex parts and was much better than the Rolex Brisbane quote of $1,600.00 plus parts for a service plus 2 registered/insured post charges. Cost wise, it is better to send the watch to Rolex in Singapore for service.
I will forget the service and use a calender to tell the time, after all I am in Queensland now and things are a bit slow up here.
The pics of myself and BernieQ turned out ok, the first pic of us was taken at the rear of the Winne and it looks as if BernieQ has lost an arm. The second shot of us was taken in front of the Sprinter and BernieQ has regrown his left arm, or Selwyn has worked magic with the camera.
I enjoyed meeting BernieQ in person--He left before I could get him a Weis Bar, but we will meet again sometime and someplace along the road.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
