Dot wrote: Sun Jun 18, 2017 8:10 pm Certainly did a good job on that air con Tanks. Yeah Tanks have you checked that the watch is not a fake, that Bernie is one cool dude, a tad slippery as well & It must be warm to see you in a summer shirt.
"tanks" here Dot,
Do you want any parts from the damaged air con ? The damage is mainly the above roof part so the inside bit is ok.
The watch is a genuine Rolex 18 k Day-Date President with all of the diamonds. The story goes that my Mum used to give me a pair of slippers for my birthday each year but she got a larger size each year. I told her that my feet had stopped growing years ago, so she said "buy your own birthday present" , so I got the Rolex and sent her the account.----I did'nt get any more birthday presents after that.
Yes the weather in Maryborough is nice and warm and I may even start wearing shorts next week. Are long socks still in fashion ?

I plan to have another birthday next year.

No parts needed thanks Tanks. I would still check the watch out especially after Bernie shook hands. Who cares what's in fashion ? wear what you want to wear :) as long as it is something. enjoy the warm weather.

I'm having trouble finding the story about the a/c.

What happened Tanks?

I guess an A/C is not as strong as a turret.

"tanks" here---
I was a little ashamed to post a full sitrep the aircon damage --enough to say watch out for Shell Servo awnings. The full story may appear in a later posting about the trip from West to East which will come sometime after I reach and settle in at Dysart.

Speaking of Aircon, I have replacement electronics for Ibis AirCommand Mark II if anybody wants at no charge, although postage would be a nice gesture.

The control panel was all that required replacement hence I didn't bother with the the other bits.

NOTE: the control panel shown is the old one which I replaced and MAY be faulty. The IC board and wiring are new and not used.
