Looks a bit like this one?

I reckon it needs a shunt.

Ok here we go again . My engine air compressor is more like a oil pump , so I have bought a new one to replace the old one .
First pic bus up a bit higher it will have the driver's wheel removed and will be sitting on stands . The second pic is the new air compressor and the third pic is where the old one is and new to go ....If I get my pics in order that is .

Re: Bernie and Carols Isuzu fit out.
Oh!! Please do NOT swear when doing THAT job Bernie!!
Where does it suck air from Bernie? From the air cleaner or from the tappet cover? My old Bedford originally had it on the breather on the cover & it sucked crap in from there.
That hose almost looks like it has been sucking flat? (or out of shape?)
The one with the green stripe on it. If so, then it might help suck oil past the rings?

Yes Bruce will renew all those hoses . I'm going to need a 54mm socket to remove the harmonic balancer....bloody big mongrel .
It sucks from the air cleaner . That's the incoming hose .

Re: Bernie and Carols Isuzu fit out.
Why remove the harmonic balancer Bernie? Has leaking oil wrecked the rubber?
The compressor should pop out once you undo the 4 studs.... won't it?
PS. I'll check if I have that sized socket. Do you have a 3/4" drive breaker bar?

Re: Bernie and Carols Isuzu fit out.
Only got 1 7/16" & 1 3/8" here on the boat.
I think I got a couple of others in storage.
You need 54mm or 2 1/8" ??

Re: Bernie and Carols Isuzu fit out.
The manual says 54mm Bruce . The bolts that hold the compressor are inside the front engine cover.
